      [tabgroup] [tab title=”Bio”] In 2009, Michelle discovered her passion working as a counselor at California Fitness, an all girls’ weight loss camp. She has fought the battle of becoming a woman comfortable in her own skin. She lived the life of restricting calories, over-exercising, and binge eating and hopes to show other women this lifestyle isn’t necessary.

      Her goals changed when she began lifting heavy at EA; focus went from trying to shrink/become less to becoming stronger. Lifting became a way to challenge her boundaries while celebrating all the amazing things her body was capable of doing. Michelle aspires to empower other women to discover their inner strength instead of allowing weight, size, or body fat dictate their self-worth.
